# Announcement Banner

Display a workspace-wide banner — a maintenance notice, a policy reminder — to everyone in the workspace.

## Prerequisites

* **Workspace Admin** or **Workspace DBA** role

## Set the announcement

1. In the workspace, go to **Settings** > **General** and scroll to the **Announcement** section.
2. In **Title**, enter the banner text. To make the banner a link, fill in **Link** — clicking the banner then opens the link. Leaving **Title** empty hides the banner.
3. Pick a **Theme**:
   * **Normal**, **Warning**, or **Critical** — built-in color presets.
   * **Custom** — set your own **Background** and **Text** colors.
4. Click **Update**. The banner appears at the top for everyone in the workspace.
